The analysis company Thinknum has analyzed the preorder rankings of GameStop USA and Amazon.com from 10 to 14 June, discovering in both cases that Cyberpunk 2077 turns out to be the most booked game ever, followed by Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Other games featured in the preorder rankings include Animal Crossing New Horizons, Just Dance 2020, Elden Ring, Eternal DOOM, Watch Dogs Legion, Dying Light 2, Tales of Arise, Gods & Monsters, Marvel’s Avengers, The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening and Luigi’s Mansion 3.
In particular, in the case of Cyberpunk 2077 the pre-orders are very high thanks to the limited edition Collector’s Edition, already sold out in recent days and re-stocked on Amazon while stocks last. Even Dreamer Edition of The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening is performing well, such as the Ultimate Collector’s Edition of Gears 5.
Looking at Amazon.com and GameStop USA, the data relates only to the American market and are therefore not indicative of global trends, but certainly, help to take stock of the situation on the most popular E3 games 2019.
