Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Is Not Excluded, It May Come After Launch

Cyberpunk 2077 Was the Game Most Followed by the International Press During E3 2019

Cyberpunk 2077 was the most followed game of E3 2019 by the international press. The revelation of Keanu Reeves and the new gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 shown have done nothing but reinvigorate the spirits of all those who wait for the game, raising the hype to levels never seen before.

In short, the new CD Projekt RED game has already been branded as a masterpiece, although the release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is still almost a year away. But there is a feature that for the moment is not present in the game, but that could be interesting, and inserted in the future: the multiplayer. Pawel Sasko talked about it, leading this game designer, in a recent interview:

“We are not working on multiplayer, our focus is on the single player. We will do that, and then we see. We are not saying no, but neither are we. If something should happen in this sense, it will certainly be after the launch, and it is all I can tell you at the moment “.

Sasko then continued: “We are famous for the storytelling, the characters, the choices, and the consequences, so that’s what we want to keep doing if something happens to it. If it weren’t so we wouldn’t do it, but if instead, we decided to do it, it will be in our style “.

In short, it is not a definitive “no”, absolutely. But the Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will be something that CD Projekt RED wants to ponder well before eventually starting the work. What do you think?
