Cyberpunk 2077 is currently the most booked game on Steam (and on GOG.com), a rather predictable situation considering the post E3 hype but all this seems to have angered not a little one of the founders of Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
John Walker used not exactly positive words about those who booked the digital edition of Cyberpunk 2077: the reason? More than nine months after launch, it makes no sense to pre-order a game digitally without getting anything in return, such as discounts, extra content, DLC or bonus pre-orders.
Walker, for export and active in the field for many years, understands very well the need to book collector or limited edition physical editions, while he disagrees with the pre-order of the digital versions, always available anyway, by hand get real benefits from this gesture.
In any case, John Walker is known for his rather rough expressions and therefore his remains more like an outlet that must be considered as part of his character. What do you think about it? Let us know your opinion in the space below dedicated to comments.
