Ubisoft has just announced a new collector’s item dedicated to the very first Assassin’s Creed, or an extremely expensive statue of Altair, the protagonist of the original title.
The statue depicts the lethal murderer in the instant in which Desmond takes control of it from the Animus and thus presents the classic effect of the Templar instrument over the entire right part of his body. This effect is characterized by an LED light powered by three AA batteries, not included in the package. In case you were wondering, the statue weighs just over 9 kilograms and is between 60 and 61 centimeters high. In short, it is a rather imposing object, which will have some effect in the collection of any Ubisoft enthusiast. Stupid, however, it’s not just size and weight, but the price. In order to put this precious collector’s item on your shelves, you will have to shell out almost 700 dollars.
At the moment it is possible to book the statue, available in limited quantities and arriving in October 2019, on the PureArts website. Furthermore, it does not appear to be allowed to ship the item outside the American territory, so it will be necessary to wait a while before Ubisoft also makes it available to European users.
