Returning from E3 2019 in Los Angeles, Yoshinori Kitase of Square Enix has illustrated the novelty of gameplay and purely content of the PC version of Final Fantasy 8 Remastered, the new edition of the iconic JRPG arriving at the end of the year also on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Based on the information provided by the manufacturer Kitase to the Japanese fansite Ryokutya (with declarations reported by DualShockers), the PC version of FF8 Remastered will have additions compared to the editions aimed at the users of the Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo consoles.
Among the new features, there will be, for example, the possibility of acquiring and collecting all objects, abilities, special moves and Triple Triad cards during the adventure. Also, thanks to the PC version of Final Fantasy 8 Remake it will be possible to obtain an even higher level of GF, Gil, and Magic for each of the members of their group.
Based on what described by Kitase, there will also be options for customizing the graphics experience through a special section of the menu including, presumably, options for changing resolution and many other parameters to be set according to one’s needs.
The marketing of Final Fantasy 8 Remake is expected by the end of 2019: the FF8 Remake project will include the music of the original PlayStation version and will feature the collaboration of Harada, Kayano, and Nomura.
