Returning from Los Angeles with the announcement of Terraria Journey’s End from the PC Gaming Show stage of E3 2019, the authors of Re-Logic say they are now ready to launch Terraria on Nintendo Switch.
On the Grande N hybrid console, the now historic sandbox of the independent development company founded in 2011 by Andrew Spinks will boast several new features compared to the counterparts already available on PCs and consoles.
The Switch version of Terraria will make extensive use of the motion sensors and the vibration function of the two Joy-Con and, in the unlocked version, will allow the use of the touchscreen to control the map, zoom in, select objects, manage the inventory and activate Construction mode. Again on Switch, it will then be possible to download all the additional contents and updates that have characterized the updates of the other versions, including the future and ambitious Journey’s End.
Without further ado, we close the piece by fixing the date of launch of Terraria for Nintendo Switch to next June 27 for the downloadable version dall’eShop. The title will then be available in a retail version on cartridge over the next few weeks.
