Hunt: Showdown Debuts on PC and Xbox One in August, on ps4 in Autumn

Crytek announced that Hunt: Showdown will officially debut on Xbox One and PC next August 20th at a price of € 39.99, after an early access phase on both platforms. The title will also arrive on PlayStation 4 during the autumn, on a date not yet specified.

The German company has also made it known that, in addition to digital editions, in collaboration with the publisher Koch Media it will also launch physical versions of the game. Hunt: Showdown, for the uninitiated, is a first-person shooter that combines PvP elements with PvE mechanics, in which 5 teams of up to 2 players each are called to hunt down a monster. The first team that manages to kill him receives a bounty and automatically becomes a target for all other players in the game. “The greater the risk, the greater the reward. A single mistake can cost everything, and death is permanent,” reads the official description.

The title was launched for the first time in Early Access in February 2018 on Steam. Since then, about 20 updates have been published that have introduced new bosses, enemies, maps, times of the day, gameplay balances and refinements to artificial intelligence. On Xbox One it came last May in the Xbox Game Preview program. So after a year and a half, Hunt: Showdown is ready to see the light in its complete form. All those who proceed with the pre-order will get a legendary skin for a weapon.
