Apex Legends: This Is How the Battle Pass of the Season 2 Will Work

Apex Legends: A Developer Responds to Criticism and Anticipates New Content

Directly from the pages of the official website of Apex Legends, the managing director of Respawn Entertainment, Lee Horn, illustrates in great detail the new system of Daily and Weekly Challenges that will be launched with the Battle Pass of Season 2.

As the same Horn explains to us, during the Season 2 of Apex Legends the explorers of the Canyon island of the Kings will be able to participate in three different types of Challenges: Daily, Weekly and Repeatable.

The first, as suggested by the name, will have a daily rotation with 24-hour cycles and will allow access to three activities: the Daily Challenges to be addressed will be based on objectives and will concern, for example, the need to use a specific Legend or to inflict a number of points awarded in a given quadrant of Kings Canyon. If completed, each Daily Challenge will allow each member of their team to gain 3,000 Experience Stars to pass the Battle Pass levels.

The Weekly Challenges will have a higher difficulty level instead and will be proposed in “blocks” by seven activities. To complete them you will need to participate in multiple game sessions, with goals like “Sack 100 epic items” or “Perform 20 killings like Gibraltar, Bangalore or Mirage”. Completing four of these activities before the weekly reset we will be able to acquire a total of 24,000 Stars (6,000 Stars each), while if we manage to complete even the remaining three we will unlock a level of the Battle Pass.

Repeatable Challenges will then be dedicated to those who, for one reason or another, will not be able to unlock the previous Weekly Challenges. The completion of these Challenges will give access to a higher quantity of experience Stars, up to a weekly maximum of 54,000 Stars.

More information on the Challenges of the Season 2 Battle Pass will be regularly shared by Respawn through its social channels and through messages published in the game. Season 2 of Apex Legends will officially start Tuesday, July 2 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
