During E3 2019 has found confirmation of one of the most insistent rumors for the period before the Los Angeles fair: the landing of The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch.
The official confirmation came in fact during the Nintendo Direct organized by the Kyoto House on the occasion of this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. The realization of the project is entrusted to the Saber Interactive team, which is, however, working closely with CD Projekt Red. The latter was able to share some interesting details on production with the Kotaku editorial staff.
Among these stands out a rather interesting element, namely the possibility of supporting some touch controls for the version of The Witcher 3 for Nintendo Switch. In fact, CD Projekt has announced that in the post-launch support phase the ability to interact with the game map and the inventory could be implemented directly through the screen of the hybrid console. This addition, however, does not yet seem to be definitively confirmed. What is certain, however, is that the graphics interface was largely rebuilt specifically for Switch and that the size of the HUD will adapt to the resolution of the game.
The series dedicated to the adventures of Strigo, after selling about 40 million copies, is, therefore, preparing to arrive with its third chapter on Nintendo Switch.
