Cyberpunk 2077, Refused Will Give Voice to the Samurai Band: Here Is the First Single

CD Projekt RED announced that Refused will give voice to the iconic chrome rock band Samurai in Cyberpunk 2077!

The acclaimed Swedish punk-rock group was responsible for writing, recording and producing an EP containing the best Samurai hits with the support of CD composers Projekt RED led by Marcin Przybyłowicz. The tracks born of this collaboration include both tracks inspired by the original material and exclusive pieces for Cyberpunk 2077.

“I am incredibly excited to work with Refused on Cyberpunk 2077,” said Marcin Przybyłowicz, Music Director of CD Projekt RED. “I know for sure that there are very many fans of the band in the studio, including Piotr Adamczyk, one of the composers working on the game, which was the one who proposed to me to collaborate with them. I’m really glad he did it because everything that comes from Refused has completely won me over. I can say that the punk factor in the music of Cyberpunk 2077 is at the highest level!”.

“Just like us, the Samurai is a group of rebels, albeit in other times and places,” said Dennis Lyxzén, Lead Vocalist of Refused. “Working closely with CD Projekt RED, composing music for a chrome rock icon in Cyberpunk was fantastic, but also very different from a creative point of view. It was an unexpected challenge that turned out to be tailored for us. The songs are fantastic and the game is simply crazy.
