Through their social media profiles, the representatives of Sony Interactive Entertainment tell us that they have taken a decision intended to make people talk, namely to modify the PS4 free games lineup of the PS Plus in July through the “in extremis” replacement of PES 2019 with a new title.
The Konami football simulator, in fact, should have landed in the PlayStation 4 Instant Game Collection just today, Tuesday 2nd July, along with the acrobatic arcade racer Horizon Chase Turbo.
Unlike Sony, however, PES 2019 cannot be downloaded for free by subscribers to the service: instead of the last chapter of Pro Evolution Soccer, Detroit Become Human, the iconic sci-fi adventure of Quantic Dream, will be proposed by Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. The version proposed to us by Sony, moreover, is the Digital Deluxe which includes a copy of Heavy Rain, a title that has already been proposed to subscribers to PS Plus in June 2018.
The announcement of the modification of the monthly lineup of the PS Plus in July 2019 took place through a message launched on the official social profiles of PlayStation which does not explain the reasons for such a choice, thus contributing to fuel the doubts of the PlayStation 4 player community. in any case, both Detroit Become Human and Horizon Chase Turbo will be able to be downloaded completely free of charge by PS Plus members for the duration of July and until Tuesday of the first week of August . What do you think of this change? Let us know with a comment.
