The Nintendo Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was not particularly appreciated, and was badly rejected also by the Digital Foundry technical analysis. Fortunately, there is a substantial update coming this month that should solve some problems.
The most serious is surely the input delay, the delay between the pressing of the keys and the actual moment in which the character performs the requested action, which should be solved with the update coming on July 15th, along with other improvements regarding game optimization.
The update is currently being tested and has also been postponed for a few days due to a graphical bug that had recurred. In addition to the remapping of some keys, such as the one for closing the map, and the improvement of some small features, numerous bugs have also been solved, such as the one that blocked objects on the walls, for example.
Some problems concerning vibration in some game levels were then eliminated, and another annoying bug that caused the game to crash during the transition from one room to another was solved. Go ahead also for the DLC “Iga’s Back Pack”, which was approved by Nintendo and which is now in the final stages of development.
