In the course of a wide interview with the editorial staff of Variety, the creator of the videogame series Oddworld, Lorne Lanning, has released some interesting statements about the future of the series on Nintendo Switch.
As part of a broader reflection on the future of the saga, the author was asked if there were plans for further repetitions of chapters from the past. On the subject, Lanning expressed himself in a rather positive manner, confirming that in case there was demand from the public, the team could work on reworking and expanding Oddworld series games. But not only that, Lanning has indeed added in this regard: “You could even hear something similar very soon”. After recalling the announcement of Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath HD for Nintendo Switch, the developer pointed out of the team has ” some further announcement related to Switch to do after E3. One thing I could say for now is that I believe that Oddworld fans who own Switch will find 2019 a very ‘Oddworld’ year”.
