According to some insiders, including one of ResetERA’s administrators, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 will be released at the beginning of 2020 on PS4 and PlayStation 4 PRO in four different editions.
The month chosen for the launch of the game would be February 2020, with Sony planning to publish the title in four versions: Standard, Special, Elite and Collector’s, but the contents of the collector’s editions were not disclosed. The source had in the past already anticipated the release date of Death Stranding and is considered very reliable, in recent months also Jason Schreier of Kotaku spoke of February 2020 as the release date of The Last of Us Part 2.
At the moment everything is silent and Sony has not announced anything about it, but it seems unlikely that the title Naughty Dog could come out at the end of 2019 as initially hypothesized, this slot occupied by Death Stranding with regards to the First Party PlayStation releases. We look forward to any official announcements from the publisher, confirmations that could arrive in the coming months.
