Apex Legends, the First Patch of Season 2

Apex Legends:

High Tension, Season 2 of Apex Legends, started a few days ago, but the guys at Respawn Entertainment have already been forced to intervene to balance some aspects of the game experience with a patch.

To begin with, the Perforascudi has been weakened, one of the two new hop-ups that increases damage to shields with weapons like the Alternator and the RE-45. The developers realized that it was too powerful, and decided to reduce the damage multiplier to the shields from 2.26 to 1.7. The Daily Challenges focused on specific locations, for their part, have been totally removed, because according to the developers “they had a negative impact on the game”. The Penalty for Abandonment in Ranked Matches, on the other hand, was temporarily disabled due to a bug. Respawn, in any case, will continue to monitor the situation while working on a solution, inflicting punishments where necessary.

The patch, whose rollout started on PC yesterday, is now available on all gaming platforms. Unfortunately, judging from the data available on the net, Apex Legends Season 2 is not going very strong on Twitch.
