Borderlands 3: The Story Will Be as Important as the Gameplay, Explains Gearbox

Borderlands 3 Endgame No DLCs with New Characters Are Planned

At a round table organized in the margins of E3 2019 by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 3 Senior Producer, Anthony Nicholson, wanted to spend words on honey for the Borderlands 3 story, considering it as important as the gameplay, the obvious point of force in this shooter series.

“We have a great team of screenwriters, so yes, we will continue to focus on the narrative and further emphasize it”, is the message that Nicholson wanted to send to those who are anxiously awaiting the launch of the title. Speaking of the history of Borderlands 3, the Gearbox producer explains that “our team of writers and authors was simply stellar in weaving the plot of the title to keep faith with the canons of the series and its tradition”.

A good part of the events that we will experience in the Borderlands 3 campaign will be around the ferocious Calypso Twins, then Nicholson underlines adding that “you will chase them through the galaxy, preventing them from opening all those Crypts. The narrative in this is very important because we want to be sure of the fact that everything coincides in the best way, making history adhere to the game system to give you that much-loved experience from our fans “.

At this point, we just have to remind you that Borderlands 3 will be available starting September 13th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. As happened in the past with the previous chapters of the epic shooter of the Crypt Hunters, also this time in the post-launch period we will see the publication of many free updates for the endgame and a few – but substantial – major expansions that will contribute to making fresh the gaming experience of enthusiasts.

The main Borderlands 3 campaign, however, should last about 35 hours, more than enough time to let your imagination run wild among the planets of Pandora’s system.
