For E3 2019, the Cyberpunk 2077 demo made available by the CD Projekt Red team was supported by a PC with decidedly high hardware features.
Assembled purposely to allow the game to show itself at its best, this configuration has however spread a certain concern in part of the users that anxiously await the new title of the authors of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In particular, many gamers have wondered what kind of performance the game can have on low-end consoles or PCs at the time of publication.
CD Projekt Red intervened to reassure users. In the course of an interview granted to the WCCFTech portal, in fact, Alvin Liu, a member of the software house, gave some statements on the matter, excluding the existence of problems related to the optimization of less powerful PC hardware assembled for E3 2019. Liu stressed that the team has an effective custom engine, the RED Engine. Furthermore, he stated: “Actually, we are considering consoles as first-class platforms and [Cyberpunk 2077] looks fantastic”. The CD Projekt member confirmed that, of course, those who have invested in a PC with certain requirements will be able to see the results, however, “the graphics are quite incredible for what you will get from Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles and PCs low”.
In closing, we point out that recently, Mike Pondsmith, creator of the brand, compared the Cyberpunk universe to Star Wars, providing some interesting considerations. The Cyberpunk 2077 team also provided new details on the skill progression system.
