There has been talking for some time of a version of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC coming in the coming months, but for the moment an official confirmation has not yet arrived from Rockstar Games. A new clue to the existence of the game, however, was discovered just in the past few hours.
The alleged videogame technical specifications on PCs have been leaked on the GTA forums via some data miners who have analyzed the code of the companion app, discovering various references with regards to graphic, screen, system and audio settings. much else.
Among the various items discovered there is also one related to the DirectX 12.1 set, which means that Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will support the latest version of Microsoft DirectX, DX12.
Another interesting feature is that the game will include among the various options, a preset graphic setting called “Ultra”, which presumably is dedicated to owners of high-end PCs who can then automatically select all the best graphics options, a novelty compared to GTA V, which did not include this possibility.
In short, it seems that it is only a matter of time before Rockstar Games officially announces Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, but in the meantime, we remind you that the above information is not official at the moment, so always take the whole thing with the benefit of the doubt.
