After confirming that the title will not see the light before next year, the boys of InXilereturn to talk about Wasteland 3, the new chapter of the post-apocalyptic setting realistic series.
First of all, the game director Tim Campbell told us about the longevity of Wasteland 3, giving us an idea of how long we could spend to get to the end credits:
“We have bet at 50 hours, which is about the same length as Wasteland 2. Now, these are terribly difficult aspects to estimate. Because with a game in which you can make so many different choices, you can advance in various ways. always more hasty playing styles, as there are more extended ways of playing, so we aim at the middle, and players’ experiences may vary more or less starting from this estimate”.
Returning instead to the postponement of the title, inXile declares that the extra time will serve to further refine its new RPG and thus make it a cleaner and more enjoyable product. The development team is benefiting from an ” incredible support ” from Microsoft(which in recent times has acquired the studio), thanks to which dubbing with lip-syncing has been introduced for all the dialogues and characters of the game world.
Wasteland 3 will be released in the spring of 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
