Death Stranding will be released on PlayStation 4 on November 8th, but Hideo Kojima’s game seems to be one of the best candidates to populate the PS5 launch lineup, along with other First Party games like Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part 2.
According to various rumors, although PS5 is backward compatible, Kojima Productions would already be working on an “Enhanced” version of Death Stranding designed specifically to exploit the potential of the Next-Gen Sony console. Specifically we speak generically of ” new features ” made ad hoc for PS5, however, it is difficult at the moment to understand what it is exactly, considering that Hideo Kojima and Sony have not announced anything about it.
The same treatment could also be reserved for the already mentioned The Last Of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, also compatible with PS5 but probably destined to come out even in a version optimized for the next platform of the Japanese company.
Did you know? Some have created a version of Death Stranding for PS1 with polygonal graphics designed to recall the first PlayStation games.
