Night City, the megalopolis that will be the backdrop to the events of Cyberpunk 2077, will be decidedly vast. Moving between the six districts that make it up will not be a quick operation at all, but fortunately, players can rely on two types of vehicles, cars and motorcycles.
In a recent video that appeared on the official Facebook page of the production, the Lead Quest Designer Paweł Sasko had the chance to talk about this topic. He explained, for example, that players will be given the opportunity to own a garage, where they can park different cars and motorcycles. On each of them, moreover, a radio will be equipped with lots of interchangeable stations that will transmit different musical genres, just like in other open worlds like Grand Theft Auto. As emerged on the occasion of E3 2019, the vehicles will also be equipped with artificial intelligence, thanks to which, once called, they will be able to reach the player wherever they are. A bit like Rutilia in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, who rushes to Geralt’s rescue after a simple whistle. You can watch the video with Pawel Sasko at this address.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be published on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 16, 2020. Recently, high-resolution renderings of characters have been published and we have discovered the functioning of the skill progression system.
