Recently, the official social media channels of Xbox Germany shared images that heralded the arrival of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Xbox One starting March 3, 2020, a report denied by the social media manager of the Teutonic division of Xbox reporting that it is a trivial mistake.
After the clarification of the Microsoft executive, today comes the official denial from the upper echelons of Square Enix.
Speaking on the pages of VideoGamesChronicle to further clarify the issue, a spokesman for the Japanese video game giant responded to the question of whether there are any plans to bring FF7 Remake on Xbox One explaining, with typically Japanese pragmatism, that “as previously announced, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released on PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020. There is no plan for the title to arrive on other platforms”.
The first act of the epic episodes of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, therefore, will arrive only and exclusively on PS4 in March of next year and, as confirmed by the same vertices of Square Enix on the sidelines of E3 2019 that have consecrated it as best video game of the Los Angeles fair, it will not have a crossover with FF14 , it will boast a new look for Tifa and will propose a new Materia system.
