The Division 2: Matchmaking for the Raid and Changes to Incoming Crafting

Ubisoft has unveiled all the details of Episode 1 of The Division 2, titled Shipping to the Suburbs of DC, which will accompany players outside the boundaries of the US capital in two new missions and new Expeditions.

The update will be available from July 23rd for holders of Pass Year 1 and from July 30th for all other players and will be accompanied by a substantial patch that, in addition to introducing new content, will also apply numerous changes to the gaming experience based on player feedback.

To begin with, after the pressing demands of the community, the Massive guys will finally introduce matchmaking for the 8-player Raid “Operation dark hours”. However, these opportunities will only be available by selecting the new Discovery difficulty, designed to allow players to train. Among the rewards of this activity (which according to Ubisoft will be “excellent”), in any case, there will be no Exotic equipment, which will remain exclusive to the Normal variant of the Raid without matchmaking.

In addition to this, important improvements to crafting are planned. From July 23rd, players will be able to build their own equipment up to Equipment Score 500, they will be able to transfer projects between characters and will have the opportunity to recalibrate weapons built at the DIY station. There will also be a series of balances with regard to skills and weapons, which will be illustrated in detail shortly.
