The New Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Patch Adds Features to the Story Creator Mode

Just two days after the release of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey patch 1.4 which introduced support for the third episode of the narrative arc The Destiny of Atlantis, Ubisoft launched a new update, this time addressing the expansion of the acclaimed Story Creator Mode.

The mode has in fact been enriched with some useful features requested in a loud voice by the players. To begin with, the Dialogues Visual Presets option has been added, which allows you to apply some visual filters to the dialogues. The navigation, however, has been improved thanks to the introduction of the “Back” and “Forward” buttons, and the possibility of adding to bookmarks specific stories, missions, and dialogues. In the guest list, by selecting one, the Edit button now appears. Non-player characters can now be of Elite type if their faction provides it, while thanks to new icons it is allowed to highlight the high-impact choices. In missions requiring the assassination of a target, the possibility of adding a description for the NPC in question was introduced. Besides all this, the navigation of the world map has been improved and some bugs have been solved, such as those that altered the behavior of the NPCs, for example preventing them from attacking the player.

For even more in-depth information, we advise you to read the complete changelog available on the official Ubisoft forum. We take the opportunity to inform you that the third episode of The Destiny of Atlantis, entitled The Judgment of Atlantis, will be launched on 16 July. For the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour, however, we will have to wait until autumn.
