During the last episode of Xbox Showcase, which went live from London, Rare returned to talk about the future of Microsoft and, in particular, the possibilities offered by Xbox Scarlett and Project xCloud.
The authors of Sea of Thieves seem to be extremely satisfied with both projects of the Redmond giant, particularly appreciating the “unlimited” possibilities that will soon be offered to players to take advantage of products and services.
Here are the words of Craig Duncan, studio head of Rare:
“When you are part of the winning team and you can take a look at the products even before they are announced publicly, you feel that this is a great opportunity for a studio that develops games like ours. See what was shown at the Microsoft conference on ‘E3 2019, talking about the impact that the PC Gaming and Scarlett will have on the market and what we are doing with xCloud makes me extremely enthusiastic both as a player and as a developer, since I believe that the possibilities of playing are going to become unlimited. “
It, therefore, seems that, in addition to the continuous support provided to Sea of Thieves, something is moving in Rare’s home and, maybe at E3 next year, we will see the official presentation of the upcoming title on Xbox Scarlett.
Did you know that Microsoft could soon announce a new device dedicated to Project xCloud?
