On the occasion of the launch, Dr. Mario World debuted in first place in the App Store ranking, marking an interesting start for the new Nintendo mobile production.
Further details on the commercial performance of the game now emerge from surveys carried out by Sensor Tower. According to the latter, Dr. Mario World would be downloaded two million times over the first three days of availability on the market. But not only that, always during the first 72 hours from the debut, the players would have spent on the title a sum equal to about 100,000 dollars. Although these are certainly interesting data, with the latter, Dr. Mario World does not currently stand up to a comparison with other mobile productions of the Kyoto House.
Still, according to what reported by Sensor Tower, which also highlights a different monetization system for Dr. Mario World, the first three days of presentations on the mobile market of other titles of the Great N would have received better results. In particular:
- Fire Emblem Heroes would have had a peak of 4.9 million downloads, with gross revenues of around 11.6 million dollars;
- Super Mario Run would count on 4.3 million downloads and $ 6.5 million in gross revenue;
- Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp would have been downloaded 6 million times, generating gross revenues of 1.4 million dollars;
