Good news for Hunters and Slayers active on the PC version of Monster Hunter: World. Nvidia has announced some interesting news for Capcom’s action-RPG.
In particular, the company confirmed that a new update will introduce support for the DLSS, an acronym that indicates the Deep Learning Super Sampling. Thanks to the use of the AI and the characteristics of the GeForce RTX 20- series graphics cards, Nvidia anticipates that “players will be able to use higher game settings and resolutions while enjoying a fast and fluid framerate“.
To illustrate the potential of DLSS, a useful infographic was shared by Nvidia , which you can find directly at the bottom of this news. The latter illustrates the differences in performance involving the RTX 2060, RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards, signaling how the DLSS can “boost performance to 4K up to 50% in the most demanding moments of the game” . Also at the bottom, you can see that Nvidia will also add a sharpness adjustment option. The debut of support for DLSS will come with an update, planned by Capcom for July 18 at 00:00 UTC .
We also take the opportunity to inform you that the month of July will see the return of a crossover event between Monster Hunter World and The Witcher 3 in Capcom.
