CTR Nitro-Fueled: The New Update “Puts the Turbo” on the Nintendo Switch Game

From the pages of the official website of Activision support, the Beenox authors inform us that the next update of Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled will introduce one of the most requested features by arcade racing enthusiasts who are facing the challenges of the title on Nintendo Switch.

In fact, according to the notes of the 1.05 CTR Nitro Fueled patch on Switch, Canadian developers will unlock the Boost Mode of Nintendo’s hybrid console, a feature introduced with firmware 8.0 via CPU overclocking in more intensive gaming sessions.

Similarly to what Nintendo did with the Boost Mode of Zelda Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, the “Turbo mode” of CTR Nitro Fueled on Switch will be used by Beenox to reduce loading times, thus adopting a different approach than the one used by the NetherRealm studies to stabilize the dynamic resolution of Mortal Kombat 11 on Switch .

Among the other updates of the 1.05 update planned both on the Nintendo console and on the PS4 and Xbox One we report a slight but important reduction in loading times, the resolution of bugs found both in the race and in the use of the game menus and the closure of a problem related to the management of multiplayer lobbies.
