Your PC is not the most performing and what worries you in view of the release of Cyberpunk 2077? No problem, as there is a good chance that you too will be able to enjoy the title with a more than discreet graphics rendering.
This was stated by Alvin Liu, UI director, in a recent interview:
“We have an incredibly scalable graphics engine, the RED Engine. At the moment our reference platform is the consoles, where the game is wonderful from a graphics point of view. Obviously, if you have purchased a $2,000 PC you will enjoy an experience at the top. The graphics of Cyberpunk 2077 are still exceptional even on low-end consoles and PCs. “
During the talk, Liu also talked about the imminent arrival of the next-generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, platforms with which Cyberpunk 2077 should be compatible right from launch:
“The next generation of consoles has not yet been officially announced, so we can only speculate. From a technological point of view, Cyberpunk 2077 is a very advanced game. Our technology is ready to interface with the next generations. The game was developed in so that all features coming in the future can be exploited. “
In short, it seems that the Polish team does not want to upset anyone and is trying to make the game compatible a bit with all the available platforms and those on the way.
We remind you that the title will arrive on the shelves of all stores starting next April 16th, 2020 in the following versions: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam and GOG).
Did you know that CD Projekt RED would like Meryl Streep in Cyberpunk 2077? It also seems that the cover of Cyberpunk 2077 is reversible, presenting on one side the male protagonist and on the other the female one.
