Last week we tried the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer, and although it was little more than a simple taste, the desire to learn more is already a lot. Art Director Joel Emsie’s statements in this regard have turned out to be quite interesting.
According to the statements, the multiplayer mode will have a system of groupings, in which the main factions will be the Super Factions, which will, in turn, be divided into a system of sub-factions. It is not clear at the moment how they work, but Emsie tried to explain it.
“There will be two opposing forces, the Super Factions, ie the East and West parts of the globe. In addition to this division, there will be additional teams, the Sub-Factions, which can be specific traditional teams or add a paracadutsta as a doctor, or a member of the Air Force for communications, or airstrikes. I’m simplifying too much, but I think you can get an idea of how the structures we are building give us freedom and at the same time make things as realistic as possible. we will give more details in the future”. Emsie then clarified that there will be no specialization systems as in Rainbow Six: Siege.
In short, despite these statements, there is still a lot to discover about the multiplayer game. Everything will be revealed in two weeks, August 1st, when the complete reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is expected.
