Codemasters Announces the Size and System Requirements of GRID

Codemasters Announces the New Grid, Arriving in September

The English developers of Codemasters reveal the dimensions of GRID and the double card with the Minimum and Recommended system requirements that must be met to face their next PC racing game, in addition to the already announced PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Based on the information provided by the British team, the use of the very latest EGO Engine graphics engine will “oblige” Codemasters to adopt DirectX 12 and, consequently, to exclusively use an operating system compatible with these graphics libraries, ie Windows 10 64-bit. Particularly interesting is the data of the 100 GB of available disk space to install the game on your hard disk, be it mechanical or SSD.

Presumably, the dual console version to be used for PS4 and Xbox One users will require a similar amount of free space on the hard disk of their chosen platform. In any case, you will find the list of minimum and recommended GRID system requirements on PC:

GRID – Minimum Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel i3 2130 / AMD FX4300
  • RAM memory: 8 GB
  • Video Card: Nvidia GT 640 / HD7750
  • Hard Disk: 100 GB of available space

GRID – Recommended Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel i5 8600k / AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
  • RAM memory: 16 GB
  • Video Card: Nvidia GTX 1080 / RX590
  • Hard Disk: 100 GB of available space

Due to the recent postponement of GRID, the release of the new Codies digital effort is scheduled for October 11 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
