Sega Announces Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball, the Remake for PC, PS4 and Switch by Banana Blitz

Does Sega Prepare to Announce a New Super Monkey Ball

The high spheres of SEGA make the joy of all the fans of the Super Monkey Ball platform series announcing the Tabegoro project from the pages of the latest issue of Famitsu! Super Monkey Ball, the remake for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch by Banana Blitz.

In this new version, the acrobatic action platform from SEGA published in 2006 on Wii will boast a renewed graphic section and several additions to contents that will be inserted in the already known gameplay elements of Banana Blitz.

In its original edition for Wii, the seventh chapter of Monkey Ball included 100 “major” levels and 50 “challenge” levels focused on the use of the Wiimote: we do not know, therefore, what interventions SEGA authors have made to transpose these minigames on PC and on platforms like PS4 and Switch which, of course, have controllers with different motion sensors than those of Nintendo’s white gem.

Anyway, Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball will initially be marketed only in Japan. The release of the title in the home country is scheduled for October 31 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with the PC version expected in December. As is often the case in these cases, the success that SEGA will be able to obtain in Japan will affect the timing of development of the Western porting of the Banana Blitz remake. In the meantime, take a look at the very first game images published by Famitsu and let us know with a comment if you are passionate about this famous platform series.
