Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, New Riders and Free Circuits After the Launch!

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled continues to receive the support of Beenox and Activision, which after the Grand Prix event in CTR announced the arrival of a new patch that should improve the overall performance of the game and especially the loading times.

The latter is in fact the real Achilles heel of the game, mainly with regard to the Nintendo Switch version, a platform on which waiting times are particularly long between one race and another. The 1.05 patch on Switch (1.07 instead of PS4 and 1.0.1.1 on Xbox One) solves the problem on all consoles.

On Nintendo’s hybrid machine, boost mode will in fact be used, a sort of overclock that will help reduce loads, which will be significantly reduced on all platforms. Other features of the update are improved stability in online gaming, greater variety in the selection of tracks in matchmaking, small improvements to tracks, troubleshooting of cooldowns of players’ powerups, lobby changes to find players more easily, and various other small adjustments.
