What If Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 Came out at the Launch of Nintendo Switch Pro?

Eiji Aonuma Talks About the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, Released in 2021?

Since it was announced at E3 2019, the sequel to Breath of the Wild has established itself as one of the most anticipated games by gamers around the world, but for the moment there is very few news about it.

All that Nintendo has stated is that the title is currently being developed in collaboration with Monolith Soft. A potential release date has therefore not even been taken into consideration, at least until now.

In fact, in the past few hours, some Twitter users have done some interesting (but bizarre) speculations. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was in fact one of the Nintendo Switch launch titles, available since the day one of the consoles. But the Kyoto house recently-announced Nintendo Switch Lite, a reissue of the console in a reduced and exclusively portable version, which will be released on September 20, the same day as the Link’s Awakening remake.

So one of the fans did 2 + 2: what if the sequel to Breath of the Wild came out as the Nintendo Switch Pro launch title? In addition to Switch Lite, in fact, it is rumored for some time to further redesign of the console, designed for the most demanding players: a more powerful model in short, for the moment not confirmed by Nintendo, but that could arrive in the future. And what better way to drive sales if not a bundle with the sequel to Breath of the Wild, perhaps?

What do you think? Would it be plausible? Would you like it?
