With a short video, Blizzard has just kicked off the 2019 Summer Games which, as promised a few days ago, started well in advance of the past few years.
Taking a look at the event trailer you can see all the exclusive contents that can be unlocked by opening chests or purchased with gold coins hard accumulated over time. In addition to the cute costumes of Wrecking Ball, Genji, Torbjorn and Hanzo we usually find a considerable number of emotes and sprays to be equipped in the panel relative to the various heroes. Moreover, for the first time ever, an Overwatch event will present weekly challenges that resuming what we have seen with the mini-events of Ana and Baptiste. During each week that will characterize the event, you will be able to complete challenges to obtain unique skins of Reaper, Mei, and Reinhardt as well as some sprays. The challenges will all be the same and will simply require you to win a certain amount of games.
Obviously, during the event, which will end on August 5th, 2019, you will also be able to recover the old contents of the Summer Games at a reduced price.
Did you know that Blizzard is going to implement a new anti-cheater system in Overwatch? It also seems that the next Overwatch hero will wait a little longer.
