505 Games is pleased to announce the release of Horace, an adventure-platform featuring an eccentric mixture of British humour and a cinematic narrative, via PC via Steam. The title can be purchased at the special price of €13.49, thanks to a 10% discount on the official price available only for the first week.
For the occasion, the developers Paul Helman and Sean Scaplehorn have published the launch trailer that you can view at the beginning of the news. Horace is a platform that boasts mechanics typical of Metroidvania, with skills that can be progressively unlocked as you progress through the story. During the adventure, players will also be called upon to solve challenging puzzles and defeat very strong bosses within a game plot defined as fun and at the same time deep and emotional.
“Horace is a little gem, which teaches us how important it is to never stop pursuing one’s dreams,” the official statement reads. In fact, Paul Helman quit his job in order to make the video game of his dreams, which in the following six years took shape in Horace. Leading the developer was the desire to create an emotional connection with the player through a deep narrative of cut-scenes capable of giving the title a decidedly cinematic cut.
