Tips to defeat and capture the Legendary Pokemon

When a Legendary Pokemon appears in a Raid, the first step to capture it is to defeat him in battle. To do this you will have to prepare yourself for the best combat, deploying your best Pokemon, and in particular those able to exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. If a Legendary Pokemon is weak to Beetle, Dark and Ghost creatures, for example, you would do well to use this type of Pokemon to inflict as much damage as possible. Of course, to increase your chances of winning you will need to rely on teamwork, fighting alongside other equally prepared coaches.

Once you have defeated the Legendary Pokemon, to add it to your collection all you have to do is capture it. In this regard, we recall that the basic capture rate for Legendary Pokemon (apart from Mewtwo) is currently 3%. This means that without modifiers of any kind, by throwing the Pokeball upright, without using berries and without obtaining an excellent or excellent shot, you will have 1 chance in 33 of capturing the Legendary Pokemon. To increase your chances of catching, therefore, it will be important to use the berries (especially the golden berries) and make the best possible launches(even better if you make excellent curved shots).

Naturally, the number of legendary creatures present in Pokemon GO will tend to increase over the months, as Niantic Labs continues to include new ones in the game. We will not fail to update our guide, to explain how to catch them all.

Meanwhile, remember that on our pages we also told you how to get all color Pokemon and all regional Pokemon for GO Pokemon.
