PS5: Launch in November 2020 and 21 Million Units at $499 by 2022, for an Analyst

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that it will participate in Cologne’s Gamescom in August and the Tokyo Game Show in September, before which the company will hold its own showcase at ChinaJoy on August 1st.

At the moment there seems to be no conference scheduled for the two events in question, where Sony will only be present with a stand, at least in appearance. If it is true that it is difficult to expect live events for the German fair (scheduled for August 20 to 24) the chances increase considerably when talking about the Tokyo Game Show.

For many years now Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan & Asia has held a ” Showcase Pre Tokyo Game Show ” on a regular basis in early September, an event that could be repeated in 2019, although it has not yet been confirmed. The TGS will be held from 12 to 15 September, so can we expect a conference the first week of the month?

It is not excluded that Sony can take advantage of the Tokyo Game Show also to reveal some details on PlayStation 5 to the Japanese public, until now the (few) communications on the new console have been made in the West in collaboration with partners like Wired. Many people think that the company can announce the new PS5 by the end of the year … will it do so at the September fair? We will find out at the end of the summer.
