Will the New Zelda Be Called Breath of the Darkness and Be Released at the End of 2020 on Switch Pro?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Darkness

On the pages of the ResetEra videogame forum, some interesting indiscretions on the sequel of Zelda Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch have bounced, with rumors concerning the final name of the video game and its indicative launch window.

To want to pay attention to the rumors heard in the narrowest corridors of the ResetEra forum, it would seem that the next chapter of the Link epic should be called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Darkness. If it turns out to be true, the name of Breath of the Wild 2 would definitely give credit to the hypotheses of nature’s fans in dark tints of the plot, as suggested by the disturbing messages hidden in the passage that accompanied the announcement of the project during E3 2019.

According to the leak, the release of Zelda Breath of the Darkness should take place between the end of 2020 and the first months of 2021 in coincidence with the marketing of Switch Pro (or Switch 2, as reported by the rumor): the new adventure of Link should, therefore, be the first video game to be optimized for Switch’s mid-gen model, thus boasting a richer graphics compartment, better particle effects, higher resolution, and higher (or at least more stable) framerate.

As for the plot of Breath of the Darkness, the adventure is described to us as yet another Link’s fight (will Zelda also be present as a playable character?) Against the forces of evil that aim to throw the kingdom of Hyrule into chaos by breaking the balance given by the Triforce. What do you think of these rumors?
