2K announces today that NBA 2K20 will have the largest soundtrack ever, with over 50 tracks including others: Drake, Meek Mill, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and Nipsey Hussle.
All the songs were chosen by 2K and endorsed by United Masters, a new alternative label for emerging artists, founded by the legendary Steve Stoute. More songs will be added throughout the year ranging from different genres: hip-hop, R&B, electronic, pop, and rock. Fans can start listening to the soundtrack starting today on Spotify.
“NBA 2K has become a cultural reference point for sports gaming communities, with the soundtrack always playing a key role, ” says Steve Stoute, founder, and CEO of Translation and United Masters. ” This year’s soundtrack will be constantly updated, with exciting new pieces by emerging artists, to give you something you’ve never heard before.“
” Music is at the heart of the NBA 2K experience, every year we work hard to make a soundtrack that reflects the culture of basketball and inspires 2K players, ” says Alfie Brody, Vice President of Marketing at NBA 2K.
This year’s complete list of tracks was announced at the Chicago ComplexCon. During the show, 2K presented a panel where the connections between basketball, technology, fashion, and music were discussed. Steve Stoute will be on stage with Paul Rivera, Karl-Anthony Towns, Don C, and NLE Choppa.
