We return to Cyberpunk 2077 and, according to the latest statements of CD Projekt RED, the highly anticipated title will also propose religious factions throughout its history.
During the adventure, in fact, it will happen to come across some religious groups, including Christians. Here is the official statement from the Polish team:
“We will not avoid dealing with specific topics, even if this would offend the sensitivity of some users.”
“Our goal is to create a world in continuity with our own rather than an alternative reality. Some things will seem very similar to today’s world. For example, Christians are present in the game and will even have their own faction.”
It, therefore, seems that the developers do not want to impose limits of any kind and are already prepared for any criticism from the user, who has already sent Mike Pondsmith, the creator of Cyberpunk 2020, into a rage because of the presence in the game of band of the Animals. It should, however, be specified that, from the statements of the development team, the religions present in Cyberpunk 2077 will never be marked as “good” or “bad” and it will be up to the player to think about it.
We remind you that the game will arrive on the shelves of all stores starting next April 16, 2020, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (GOG, Steam and Epic Games Store) versions.
