CD Projekt RED is one of the most popular software houses ever in the current gaming landscape. In addition to having given birth to the acclaimed The Witcher trilogy, the Polish studio has often shown great respect for users, so much so that it has earned the reputation of being a “user-friendly” company.
Even with the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077, the policies with which the CD Projekt guys operate do not seem to have changed at all. Through the official Twitter channel of the game, the developers have indeed confirmed that they want to deal fairly with anyone who decides to trust the Sci-Fi RPG in person, regardless of the various timing and methods of purchase.
To a user who wondered if bonuses were to be redeemed in-game for pre-ordering Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt replied:
“We don’t. Every person who buys the game gets exactly the same in-game content, no matter if you buy it pre-order, on day one, or two years later. ”
We take this opportunity to remind you that by purchasing the title you will, in any case, get physical bonuses : for the Standard Edition we have the Night City map, the compendium on the history and setting of the game world, a series of postcards and stickers, while for the Collector’s Edition a 25 cm statue representing V, a collector’s steel book, an art book with a hardcover, and much more.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting April 6th 2020. To ease the wait that separates us from the arrival of the game with Keanu Reeves, there were those who had thought of launching the Cyberprank 2069 parody title, now removed from Steam.
