The Cyberprank 2069 Parody Game Removed From Steam: Promised Copies of Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077

The number of games published on Steam is increasing at a dizzying rate year after year. Despite the measures taken by Valve, in any case, there are far too many titles of dubious taste that manage to reach digital shelves. This is the case, for example, of Cyberprank 2069, a bad title that badly imitated the expected Cyberpunk 2077.

As you can see in the gameplay video attached below, it was a poorly made game in the first person, which did nothing but imitate the mechanics of the game being developed at CD Projekt RED studios. In the beginning, think for a while, it was called Cyberpunk 2069, but to avoid legal quarrels it changed its name. However, removal from Steam was not able to avoid it.

The developers of the terrible imitation, sold for a good 9.99 euros, indeed promised a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 as a Christmas gift for all buyers. As if that wasn’t enough, they even offered a Collector’s Edition for the funniest reviewer. We are sure that most players have not been fooled, but we cannot even believe that anyone could have fallen for it. Fortunately, it was finally removed. The real game, Cyberpunk 2077, will be released on April 16th 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
