Through the pages of its sites and official social channels, the CD Projekt leaders confirm their participation in Gamescom 2019: the presence of the Polish software house at the Cologne videogame festival is obviously linked to the Cyberpunk 2077 project.
According to what is shown by the upper echelons of the European software house, an area will be present among the stands of the German fair where it will be possible to watch the closed doors of Cyberpunk 2077. The demo in question, made entirely with gameplay scenes, will be shown only and exclusively to a small circle of lucky people, including fans, journalists and sector employees.
These pieces of gameplay will be shown on four different occasions that will take place on Stand C049 of Gamescom Hall 6 from 21 to 24 August. On the same days, the second series of closed-door presentations are also planned for journalists, developers, and producers interested in the project: in this case, it will be possible to admire this demo in Hall C041 / D050 of Hall 4.1.
Regardless of whether or not it is possible to admire video leaks that could be leaked from these evidence behind closed doors, CD Projekt has already scheduled the publication of the long demo of E3 2019 during PAX West in Seattle, scheduled between August 30 and 2 September.
As for Gamescom 2019, on the other hand, in addition to the closed-door presentations mentioned above, the Polish developers remind us that we will be able to watch the first qualifying round for the Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay contest , an international event with a $40,000 prize pool that will end in short of the release of the title, scheduled for April 16, 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
