Rainbow Six Siege: Changes to the Operation of the Inverse Friend Fire

Rainbow Six Siege: This Is Why It Will Never Go Free to Play

This afternoon, after the inevitable maintenance operation, Ubisoft released the Rainbow Six Siege Y4S2.3 patch – already available on PC from 22 July – also on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The upgrade has enhanced Glaz, decreased the effectiveness of Jackal, modified the sound effect of Maverick’s bursting flame, balanced shields and more. For more information on the balances carried out, we advise you to consult the article linked above, and here we will focus on the important changes applied to the operation of the Inverse Friend Fire.

The Ubisoft developers have in fact added more vestments to this feature to take into account the chronology of damage caused to a player by the offender in the course of several rounds in a game. Small continuous damage caused to a player by a teammate over several turns will result in the accumulation of friendly Fire points more quickly. Putting an out-of-combat teammate will activate the reverse friendly Fire. To revive him, on the contrary, will cancel the activation of the inverse friendly Fire. In the event of death due to bleeding during KO, the victim will be offered the opportunity to report the killing as intentional or not.

What do you think of the changes implemented?
