Coinciding with the opening of the QuakeCon, id Software’s and Bethesda’s tops surprise shooter fans on Nintendo Switch by launching the DOOM original trilogy on the digital eShop for the Kyoto hybrid console.
The move made by the American authors and top level ZeniMax Media is one of the many initiatives promoted to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the marketing in 1993 of the first legendary DOOM.
The digital version of DOOM includes all the contents of the original edition, including the possibility of co-op play and Deathmatch for up to 4 users per lobby, and the Thy Flesh Consumed expansion which introduces 9 new levels.
Also with regard to DOOM II, id Software offers FPS fans on Switch the complete edition including cooperative and cooperative features and, above all, of the twenty original settings of The Masters Levels DLC created by community users and supervised by the developers.
No less important is the offer reserved for those who intend to purchase DOOM III on Switch, with the possibility of facing the entire main campaign in a remastered edition and the additional adventures included in The Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Missions expansions.
The id Software guys also remind us that today, Friday 26 July, the DOOM Eternal multiplayer will be revealed.
