Despite Borderlands 3, like its predecessors, is a title strongly based on the concept of sharing, at launch, it will not support cross-play between the different gaming platforms on which it will land, namely PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Fortunately, this feature will be active between the two services that will host it on a Personal Computer.
As is known since the announcement, the PC version of Borderlands 3 will be launched on September 13th in an exclusive timeframe on Epic Games Store, a young digital store that is imposing itself on the market with free games and exclusive agreements. On Steam it will arrive with six months of delay, during the spring of next year. Fortunately, cross-play will be active between the two services. This means that Epic Games Store players will be able to play freely with those who decide to wait and buy it on Steam. In essence, there will be no limitation within the same platform. The news was confirmed on Twitter by the boss of Epic Games in person, Tim Sweeney.

All Borderlands 3 PC players will always be able to play together, regardless of store.
