Devil May Cry 5 Close to Three Million Copies Sold

Devil May Cry 5

According to the latest figures released by NPD, it seems that Devil May Cry V is close to reaching the milestone of three million copies sold from March to today, undoubtedly a good success for a title that seems to have met and exceeded the company’s forecasts.

In the first two weeks, the game has placed two million copies, a figure that then rose to three million, only one less than in Resident Evil 2, whose sales, however, have now stopped for a few months. Resident Evil 2 is currently the fifth best-selling game in the first half of 2019 in the United States, so sales are likely to have increased in recent weeks, as well as those of DMC V could increase further with a possible price cut.

The numbers of two Capcom blockbusters are definitely positive, even if they do not equal the numbers of Monster Hunter World, a title capable of placing thirteen million copies, becoming the best-selling Capcom game of all time.
