The Siliconera colleagues were able to participate in the ACGHK 2019 Game Show in Hong Kong, where it was possible to test a Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot demo, a new RPG action inspired by the famous manga/anime developed by CyberConnect2 (the same as Naruto Ultimate: Ninja Storm, for instance).
For the occasion, the off-screen video recorded at the beginning of the news was recorded, which shows the initial phases of the adventure that coincide with the beginning of the Z series. Goku wanders freely through the vast settings of the title using, at the occurrence, also the Nuvola Speedy, to then join Piccolo in the fight against Raditz, which together with Vegeta and Nappa has just invaded the Earth.
Being an off-screen captured movie, the quality is not the best, but it still manages to give us a very precise idea of playability. The combat system involves the use of one button to launch a physical attack and another to launch a Ki-based attack. The simultaneous pressing of L1 allows you to launch special attacks that consume Ki, including the inevitable Kamehameha. The triangle / Y button is instead used to recharge the Ki.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, we remember, is expected on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC during the early months of 2020. Other confirmed characters include Gohan, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu. A demo of the title can be played freely during Gamescom 2019 which will take place from 20 to 24 August.
