Overwatch: Samsung Morning Stars Reach the Contenders Playoffs

Overwatch Finally Adds Game Replays

The second season of Overwatch Contenders Europe, a cadet championship dedicated to the made by Blizzard hero shooter, has just ended, after just under two months of competition.

The eight participating teams, including old acquaintances (such as the Hurricane, the London Spitfire academy) and big news, met to gain access to the final stage of the championship.

The Samsung Morning Stars this year have renewed their commitment to Overwatch, strong official roster of respect and consists of Coach Richard ” Pipou ” Buscemi (reconfirmed led the team) and seven players, including five new songs: Adam ” Khegasi ” Benaouad, Owen “Slur” Warne, William ” Asking ” Vetter, Theo ” Tek36 ” Guillebaud and Simon ” Chubz ” Vullo. The two senators, already in force at the Morning Stars, are Edmondo ” Dragoneddy ” Cerini and Arthur “Dridro” Szanto.

After a less brilliant season than last year, the fate of the Morning Stars was decided on the last day of Overwatch Contenders. The boys of Bergamo, in fact, we’re called to only one result: victory.

And they succeeded against the Shu’s money crew. Also, the fate of the Morning Stars was hanging on to another thread: the result between the Angry Titans and the Young and Beautiful. The Angry Titans should have won at least 3-1 or 4-0 to allow the Bergamo players to go to the playoffs. No biscuits, no worries: the Titans, also at risk, beat the Y&B just for 4 to 0.

The Samsung Morning Stars are therefore advancing to the next phase, which will begin on Thursday, August 1st.

At the moment there is an all-Italian derby for the quarter-finals: the Samsung Morning Stars will face the other Italian present at the tournament: the HSLs passed to the playoffs as absolute thirds. The winner of this derby will face one of the favorite teams for the final victory: the Swedish Gigantti team.
